I would like to take this opportunity to say that basketball sucks and Kobe is exhibit a as to how. It pains me to say that, because I spent a lot of time playing and loving the game.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Kobe started this passing renaissance as a "frick you im gonna pass all the time and we'll be even worse and it'll show all of you i was right to shoot that much" except now it's working so he can't stop

He did that about 5 times last night against the Hornets. The national guys are losing their minds over the assist numbers. The assists aren't what's making them better, many of them have been cheap like that one.

Kobe shooting less is what's making them better. Ball movement.

Did you happen to catch a Lakers/Suns Playoff Series, Game 7, sometime around 2007?

I think it was more that he did it one game, they won, he got praised for it, so he then decided to facilitate more.

That's what I'm saying he's done that before to prove a point except this time it worked bc his team is much better. Last time he did it they got killed and proved him right

if I have to spell it out for you in the most basic terms:

Basketball sucks now because the level of selfish play that exists and is glorified is pathetic.

Exhibit A: Kobe Bean Rapist Bryant.

Please. I watched the game twice and he gave up multiple layups to dump it off to Howard underneath.

Lets stop acting like Kobe has morphed into Magic Johnson and is creating offense.

He's simply passing to the open man for the first time in 17 years.
