Do you really think Kobe was the best player on those teams?
It's pretty obvious Jordan and Lebron were on their respective teams.
If you truly believe Kobe was an equal to 00-03 Shaq, then I just don't know what to tell you.

He has a better chance to do it than Kobe does without Shaq.
Since silly people want to use the ultimate ring count as some sort of barometer of individual greatness, we need to tweak the system. You only get full credit if you were the best player on the team. Everyone else gets .5. Is Robert Horry really better than Shaq and Jordan? No, but that's what you get when you look at a ring count blindly.
Jordan- 6
Shaq- 3.5
Duncan- 4 (maybe 3.5 if you want to throw Parker a bone)
Lebron- 1
Kobe- 3.5
