Kobe speaking the truth.

"tyson chandler is not even in this conversation"... while it may be true, it is most certainly not called for and absolutely trashing Chandler's (lack of) a post game

The cliche lines get old so i appreciate these type of answers.

He could probably learn how to pass from them.
The best part of this 2012 team was the end of the Lithuania game when LeBron took over. Kobe grabbed an offensive rebound late in that game and thought he was gonna go 1-on-1 to seal the game. LeBron ran to him, grabbed the ball and waived him away. He was bewildered to say the least.

Correct in this instance, but I'm saying in general. Was it cocky and probably a dick move? Yes. So what?
...that's not to imply it was a bad post

one of the last guys left from the real nba era along with kg, duncan, and a couple others

Carmelo and LeBron both have better post games than Kobe.
If either of those guys actually said that I'm sure they'd get called arrogant assholes who need to keep their mouths shut and just play basketball. Particularly in an Olympic setting when it should ALL be about team.
Kobe should be more worried about his perimeter game where he's been getting torched and killing team USAs team defense.

just a bunch of posters brainwashed by this era of basketball where when you defeat your opponent in the finals, you invite him to club with you afterwards.

i get your beef with that mindset, but that mindset has nothing to do with what Kobe said. Tyson Chandler is his teammate. In this setting, and in the context of the question he was asked, Kobe should have defended Chandler, or at the very least, not blasted his (lack of) a post game.
I don't like the AAU buddy attitude either, but that has nothing to do with what or why Kobe said what he said.

I do like the attitude, except it's not true. Lebron and Anthony have better post games than him, and Lebron just had a better finals and playoffs than Kobe ever had. So that's why he needs to shutup

I bet you like it when he implodes his own team every few years as well.
