As they should. Boogie is a much more valuable piece than Karl is.

What a cluster.
The Kings would be crazy to trade Cousins. Karl may not be worth the headache. Just get a good assistant.

Yeah, this just makes me think back to the mid 90's when the Warriors chose Don Nelson over Chris Webber....then Nelson left soon after anyway . I don't think there's many times when you choose coach over superstar. This definitely isn't one of them. Ranadive just doesn't know what the hell he wants.

Kind of off topic, but it really is amazing how these corporate feuds play out in the media (intentionally). It's like the important people can't sit down and actually have a conversation...they have to get each others "side" via twitter.

It's crazy that multi-billion dollar franchises regularly operate in this manner!

Anyway...fire Karl!

I kind of wondered if the DC news was pushed by Karl because he realized he doesn't really want to coach anymore, but still wants $$$$.

He's made two Conference Finals since 2000. Was only out of coaching for one year between 2000-2015

Sacramento should just trade George Karl and the #6 pick to Denver for Mike Malone and the #7 pick and call it a day.

DeMarcus Cousins is Don Draper.
George Karl is Duck Phillips.

the more important question would then be, what loser would even want to take the sac job now.

Vivek Ranadive is a clown. He thinks he can run a b-ball franchise like a tech company.

I'd take the friggin job in a heartbeat. Pay me a premium that is mostly guaranteed and get fired 6 months later. Sign me up!

They aren't going to get any reputable coach to come to Sacramento where management is going to kowtow to a headcase like Cousins.

I can understand overruling a coach but they're ready to fire him over this? Coaches and management have disagreements about players all the time.

Cousins is an immense talent but he hasn't earned any right to have the keys to the franchise.

You don't pull a power move on Don fricking Draper. And yes, I remembered your reference.
