Seriously what info is there that we have not heard 100 times? I wish he would have picked someone that doesn't have 100 movies, tv shows, documentaries and books about him.

I'd agree if this wasn't being done by Ken burns. He has never made an uninteresting documentary in his entire life

Definitely is work is amazing, I just wish it was on a less talked about subject. This is probably the most covered topic in all of sports.

Burns is obsessed with white guilt. He spent WAY too much time on it in the first Baseball documentary to the point that he pretty much ruined it.

Excited for this...Don't know that much about his childhood or college years at UCLA.

Almost all of his have been great even Roosevelts and Dust Bowl were lively and full of facts mainstream didn't know.

Only Burns doc I found dry was Prohibition.

ISWYDT

but I enjoyed that doc more than 'jazz' though.
His top 3 imo will alway sbe
1) The Civil War
2) Baseball
3) The War

No "guilt" but I just think it's stupid that a form of "entertainment" excluded better "entertainers" because of race.

By the same token, I don't like the
Fact that today's MLB has programs designed to help some disadvantaged youth but not others based solely on race.

I highly recommend The West as well

definitely hints on white guilt towards the beginning, but the array of people he brought in addition to the depth he went into about the boom towns made it a fantastic watch

I don't remember if Burns directed or produced but Horatio's Drive - America's First road trip is an entertaining little doc somewhat unknown.
