Looks pretty nice. Kansas really investing a lot into the football program since the hiring of Lance Leipold

Great for them….. now let’s see them get some solid recruiting classes to come to Lawrence.

Eh KU is a program I think can draw well if they ever get consistently competitive. I learned last year how hungry their base is for success in football.

With the renovations I think Lawrence is one of those places that if you just get the kid on campus you can win them over. KU as a whole is a pretty damn good school with a beautiful campus. I’ve liked Lawrence a lot the few times I’ve been through there. Mass St is nice as well plus it’s less than an hour from KC.

KU making their play for the Big 10 when it eventually goes to 24. They know they need to put up or get left behind the next round of realignment.

The tragedy of KU is that if they played .500 football the last 30 years they would be in the Big Ten or SEC now.

I don't think it looks near that big. Tons of suites on the home side.

Looks about the same size at Miss St or Oklahoma St stadiums which are 55-60k I believe.

Almost! Exact capacity is still tbd but they said it will be between 40-45k.

Looks like they are trying to compete in the new Big 12.

Waste of money IMO.

It's going to be between 40k-45k. They aren't overextending themselves on the size of the stadium and leaving some room for growth. Based on the renderings, it looks like there are quite a few individual seats and not bleachers but with a decent amount of room per seat.

Looks similar to Minnesota's stadium, which seats just under 51,000.

Those light poles look like something a 3rd year architecture student would come up with. They look forced and clunky.

I thought they looked delicate and pretty cool.

But I’m only a 2nd year architecture student.
