If you replaced Roy "The Marshmallow" Hibbert with Kaminsky today, it would completely transform the Pacers tomorrow.

Yeah, they'd be a lot worse.

He'll have a better pro career than Willie Cauley Stein.

His drop step and clean defense alone would make them better. His ability to pull defenders out of the middle and hit from outside would make them much better.

I would have a hard time drafting Willie Culley-Stein over Frank Kaminsky. Willie just can't score at all. A very poor mans Tyson Chandler.

There are more stretch 4's in the NBA than true rim protectors. You take the rim protector. DeAndre Jordan couldn't score coming out of college and look what he is able to do with a p.g. that knows how to set him up for easy baskets. Culley-Stein could average 10 points a game off of dunks and hustle points alone. He is a specialist and what he specializes in is very hard to come by.

Clean defense? He isn't great at contesting shots. Frank will struggle early on with defending the post in the NBA. By the way, Hibbert is an excellent defender.

Nothing special. Already 22 years old, will probably be a decent role player in the NBA, if that. Along the lines of Morrison, fredette and McDermott imo

Ah, let the white player stereotypes and comparisons pour in. He shut down Okafor but will be labeled as defensively deficient I'm sure.

Come on home to Detroit, Frank. Would fit perfectly in SVGs offense.

That is exactly what I said in another thread. He is like them but taller.

He is better than all three of those guys. I think he will be someone to build a team around like Dirk, but a definite starter/contributor when he gets a little stronger.

I don't think he's hit his ceiling at all.

I don't really understand how anyone can think he's hit his ceiling after last night's game where he clearly outplayed what some think will be the #1 overall pick in the draft.

Yall are fricking ridiculous. Kaminsky got stuck on defense by Amile Jefferson. If Kaminsky has any mid-range game, I've missed it. Dirk can shoot from anywhere on the floor. Kaminsky is a big that happens to shoot the uncontested three. How does that make him any different than Spencer Hawes?

Okafor has a better jump shot from within 8-10 feet than Kaminsky does that I've seen. Duncan can make mid-range jumpers from off the glass all day. I have never seen Kaminsky do this. He has a skill set for sure, and it is not "Dirk or Duncan."

I challenge someone to find a clip of Frank using his left hand one time in the entire tournament.

He's a great college player. He will not be able to play the same game he played in college at the next level. I don't think he's even the athlete that Ryan Kelly is.

He struggles to beat dudes off the dribble without just lumbering them with his body. That won't work at the next level. The speed of the game will hit him hard.

His drop step

His drop step is ridiculous. It makes him unstoppable down low and the way he can use it while driving is just awesome. Also, his handle is off the charts for a 7 footer. If he was black he would easily be the #1 prospect coming out.

According to a game thread a couple weeks back, there are four (good) "stretch big men" in the NBA.

This is pathetic. You should be embarrassed.
