My question would be how much is he willing to play for? League min? Would be interesting how he acted if signed. I don't think he has to worry about Dan Snyder giving him a call.

Seems like an easy way to squash this whole thing is for the redskins to sign him and watch him flounder on that floating dead body of a team.
Publicly offer him a contract and if he balks then you win, if he signs then he’ll likely suck as most anyone would back there and your case for not signing him as a backup because stronger

He has been out of the league a couple years now... How in shape is the guy going to be relative to guys in the NFL?
The word on the street a couple years ago was that he only wanted to sign where he would have the chance to be a starter. So it's nice that he has had a change of heart, but it's too little, too late.
