Everything? That directly correlates to why I said its awesome how homerific, loyal, and inanely biased Braves fans on here are considering how mediocre the support is from their own fans.
Not sure what you can't grasp about that
Lol you're reaching pretty far

I was at the game last night, and it looked no more than 50 or 60% full. I expected better than 25-30 k for the best team in baseball. That said, turner needs to hold 41 not 51 k fans.
Also, this girl sitting behind me was bitching about losing prado and I just told her that j up was so much better. Very next pitch, he blasts the ball into the stands. I felt like a badass.

I wish like hell I could go to every Braves game. I'm too far away. If I lived in ATL I would do my best to make it to every one.
Braves have such a big geographical fan base attendance is only a small part of representing the teams support.

Exactly. And if you know anything about the Braves you would know attendance is up and you would know there are many factors that will always keep our attendance down relative to other cities (traffic, public transportation, transplant city) being 3. That does not mean the support sucks, it means we will never be like a Philly where they "sell out" (I use that loosely bc attendance #s are a joke) repeatedly.

Opening day was the highest it's been in 12 years and I believe we are averaging 8 times higher than normal.

He never said the braves didn't have a huge national fan base. All he said was you guys were more passionate than people who can go to games and don't. .the ones in the city

There are a bunch of huge Braves fans, but I still think they could average like 35,000 with their fan base in the metro Atlanta area. I know the traffic and lack of public transportation is annoying, but it is just an excuse.

I hope being legitimately awesome this year will help.

i really hate that the Ted is in such a crappy area.
I could totally see how it's not all that appealing going to weeknight games there

Yeah, I really don't know what else you could ask for?
The team is loaded, weather was perfect, frenchie was back in town, and I still could have bought section 424 for myself.

The support isn't mediocre. The support is average.
You're dumb.
but I guess I shouldn't blame you for the rant's constant misuse of the word

Me either. I'd go all the time if I lived in the area.
I go any time they are regionally close.

Yeah. You put the Ted in Buckhead area. It packs out I get. My good friend lives in ATL and goes a lot. But it's still a hassle after work to get down there, park, beat traffic leaving, etc.

That's only one definition of the word professor.
And I doubt being average is what he was implicating by using the word "mediocre" in that context.

You know your team is awesome when the only hate mad people on message boards can come up with is your attendance sucks...
