Gonna be sad to look back at Blackmon and Josh Gordon as "What could have been" in a few years.

One day he's going to wake up and reality will set in. At that time he'll probably be homeless or in jail.

Damn shame.

Dumb reason to throw away this opportunity.

I agree it shouldn't be illegal but it is.

meh, it's just weed

the NFL should get rid of weed punishments. it's legal in two of the states the NFL has teams in and it's nowhere close to being performance enhancing.

I'm all about that sentiment, but frick. When you're an inch away from losing your ability to make a shitload of money, be smart.

I bet that little blonde headed girl that he use to hangout with and was shoved down our throats on college gameday hates him.

All you have to do is not smoke weed and in return you get millions of dollars.

Agree but that doesn't make what he's doing any less idiotic.

The opportunity costs he's incurring because he refuses to stop smoking weed are astronomical. Weed isn't going anywhere. Finish your career then get high as much as you want, or wait until it's legalized in the NFL.

Or just be fricking smart about it. Only smoke at your house. Don't have it in your car. Etc.

Anyone know the circumstances of the arrest?

meh maybe he shouldn't be a fricking idiot and continue to use it when his livelihood is on the line. Agree or disagree with the rule, he's still an idiot

I totally get it, but I'm conflicted when the straw that breaks the camel's back is him breaking a rule that IMO shouldn't exist anymore.

I know, in the end, you have to follow the rules even if you disagree with them, but when enough people disagree with them, rules are changed. that's how laws and rules work, and we're steadily approaching that threshold with weed.

it's just weird being in this era where not everyone is against weed, but not everyone is for legalization of weed. we're sort of in a gray area currently.
