Just a few days away from NCAA basketball

The Ragin' Cajuns start the season November 11 in the Hilltop Challenge hosted by the University of San Francisco. The Cajuns will play Northern Arizona, North Dakota State, and USF.

Wake has an exhibition at home Friday night against Ferrum College (I dunno who the frick that is) and then tip off for real November 11 against Loyola. The Deacs get national television over Thanksgiving for the Old Spice tournament in Orlando, which could be good or bad depending on whether or not they completely embarrass themselves during the games.

Your guess is as good as mine. Dino Gaudio's team collapsed in the second half of his final year, even though he rebounded to win one game in the NCAA Tournament (LOL at Texas).
Gaudio got fired for what the AD called a "culture change" and then hired his BFF Bzdelik, who made every coach in the ACC look like John Wooden last year. God knows what's going to happen from here.

Tulane opens on the 11th as well against Alabam A&M. Pretty terrible non-conference schedule, GA Tech and Syracuse are the only good ones on it.

This is one of the great things about NCAA hoops compared to football. With the tourney a team doesnt have to worry about a couple of losses so you get some great regular season games.
