No, I was just laughing thinking about this visual with your description. He would probably kill it there, but isn't some of the luster off with the Auburn performance?

I'm not sure Wooden could have won big there consistently, but he is recruiting well. I think they had a bunch of injuries this year and had to kick their best player off the team.

Make no mistake, Pearl would kill it with a talent base like Memphis. He's slimy as hell but would be able to dominate that area in recruiting imo. I still don't understand why he took the Auburn job

He probably wanted to get his name back in the news for more positive things, he could've found a different job I guess but it's not like they were beating down his door. Once we officially said we weren't gonna hire him it was the best job he could get IMO
