I've been calling out all these pussies crying about him giving it right back to a CB who is supposed to be the one doing the enforcing.

Well, to be fair, that sounds an awful lot like you're defending OBJ. If the Panthers want to bitch about OBJ, let them. He earned it yesterday.

Josh Norman shut down

OBJ was thrown at 7 times with Norman in coverage, Norman allowed 4 receptions for 30 yards... normally a win; however, OBJ dropped it twice, including a 50+ yard bomb where he had Norman twisting in the wind.

I'm not defending OBJ here, I'm taking issue with your definition of shut down.

Also, want to rethink some of the stuff you said about Butler after the first game of the year? He certainly didn't pull a Chris Harris on Antonio Brown.

What's amazing is the LSU fans defending OBJ's actions, yet they bash Auburn fans for defending Cam Newton's actions which are NOTHING like we saw yesterday. OBJ acted like a punk bitch and was obviously dirty with punches throw and cheap shots. He had to be told by his position coach to apologize to the rest of the team. Sad. 3 personal fouls and it should've been more.

You mother frickers will find any way you possibly can to bring up Cam. Holy shite we get it.

That is one way to put it.

I agree that Beckham has a successful day against Norman considering the drop was on a play where he had already burnt him. However, if Beckham catches that ball the Giants win the game, and it is obvious that Beckham was a nutcase on the field all day, so I can't imagine how someone can feel as though he came out smelling like a rose.

Beckham was the biggest loser yesterday and I'm not sure how that is even debatable.

Quite the perception you have there.

Meh. Training camp fights happen, I won't hold that against either player unless it becomes a multiple years thing. They both also had training camps with Steve Smith, so yeah.

his team lost. End of story. Other than that, it was Josh Norman who's vagina was bleeding all over field and to the refs, and teammates. Not Beckham's. Odell just gave it 110% on the field. Nice to see some fricking comradary in the NFL again.

Angler could alter the trajectory of Giants star Odell Beckham Jr.

quote:

"We have made great progress along those lines," Giants coach Tom Coughlin said of Beckham's ability to control his temper. "Today was a step backwards, but I've got to believe we will regain that once he settles down, and we'll be able to talk about it."

quote:

This is a player who spoke multiple times during the offseason about how important it would be to not let opponents make him angry. When I interviewed Beckham in June for a Sunday Countdown feature, I asked him what he would do if he were a defensive coordinator trying to stop him and he said, "Try and make me mad, I guess." He knows that this is something of which he needs to be careful. He presented it, unsolicited, as the only thing that can stop him. And on Sunday, any effort he had ever made to control it vanished in an ugly mess of punches and penalty flags.

"We had discussed prior to the game what the expectation would be, and he thought that was all behind him, but he did lose his composure," Coughlin said. "Throughout the course of the game, he regained it."

Eventually, yes. And he did manage to beat Norman for the game-tying touchdown, demonstrating one of the reasons Coughlin decided not to bench him in spite of admittedly considering it. The other reason, Coughlin said, was that, "He's got to learn at some point how to deal with some things on the field."

I thought this was an outlier for Beckham?

there's nothing untrue with my perception. Reality is, lot of folks are just intimidated by Beckham's presence and can't keep up with his will to win.

Now I'm going to assume you're just trolling. I had my inclinations, but this seals the deal.

I am not judging you for living in whatever bubble you live in where this opinion is valid, but for us in the real world, Odell is the one who will be viewed as a petulant child this week. It's not even debatable.

I don't think ODB is a TPoS, but I think that he has a lot of room to grow up. Between yesterday and Stephan Gilmore's comments regarding him earlier this year, the whole 'act like brat' thing doesn't look good on him.

trolling my arse, Odell was part of a charge that came back from a 28 point deficit. He had the unbelievable game tying touchdown. Panthers are a bunch of fricking pussies. Anyways hating on Odell's play yesterday is a fricking a-hole who's probably the biggest hypocrite in the world. Odell reminded me of steve smith yesterday. Steve may have crossed a little line here and there but the dude didn't take shite from nobody and that's exactly what made him a great.

It is a tad hypocritical that all of these Panther fans are pissy when Steve Smith Senior used to do the same shite on a semi regular basis.

I agree that that is how he will be viewed. But 90% of the time, 90% of the population of opinion's is the naive, ignorant, amateur, and shallow stupidity thoughts. Dis ain't no different. Odell and Norman were just going at it, often times, it was josh norman who was retaliating further past the whistles. Odell was trying to do all he can during the whistle. Maybe he was a tad late on 2 plays.

a tad my arse, its the definition of hypocritical. It was a great football game yesterday and a bunch of vaginas want to cry about it cause they are jealous of Odell's fantastic short career thus far. Enjoy the competition.

Josh Norman shut down OBJ and completely mind fricked him, until the last late touchdown of course...which didn't matter because everyone on the planet knew Cam Newton was about to drive the Carolina Panthers into game winning position.

so he sucked until he didn't and came up big in the clutch?
