I don't think anyone is saying Breese isn't worth what he makes relative to his peers. It's just you see all these articles about Breese being all in and willing to restructure his deal to take less and help the saints get better players and nothing ever happens. I think they were wise to pass on Norman however.

It will happen when it needs to happen. Up until now the saints have been able to sign guys they wanted by cutting salary in other areas. A tight cap situation is just a fact of life for any team with a franchise quarterback not on his first contract.
