To test positive for marijuana based off of second hand smoke alone, Josh Gordon would have to be exposed in a hot box for at least 4 hours to obtain the threshold amount. When marijuana smoke is exhaled it loses 99% of its thc because thc gets absorbed in the lungs. THC is what shows up on drug tests.

THC is the most concentrated in the beginning and ending sections of the urine stream.
If he did A right away (rookie move) it would be slightly more concentrated, and if he took B from the middle it would be less. This could be the reason for the difference.

It sounds like there is no set A and B sample. There are two samples, and whichever one is sampled first is the A sample.
