Jarvis can have all the rookie success he wants. He's still a bum and practices like a slouch, lacks the work ethic the saints desired to have on their defense and coach's don't want those kind of players on the team.

You need to review your "value and premium" charts again.

You know OLB's were at the bottom of number of players drafted?

So you're saying they should have come out and said he will be a starter right away?

MSB now not ST

He's a Steeler and Vacarro is a Saint. Supporters of either need to let it go for a couple of years. Check back after the 2015 season to analyze the picks.

Was a joke over the prodigious use of those two terms in the long winded debate.

I know the post this was replying to was a joke, but the reason so few OLBs get drafted is because many are seen as 2 down players. When teams go to nickel one of the OLBs usually come out.

And with more teams playing more and more nickel because of the passing trend, your NB sometimes plays more snaps than one of your OLBs and some teams even consider them starters.

And blues this is still saints related because it has to do with the argument of Vaccaro or Jones. The title says Jones but the post touches on both.

this...Jones will probably play a lot this season. Whether or not he'll be good, I don't know.

For all those Jones lovers who thought the Steelers were just going to throw Jones in and he would become a pro bowler.

He will make the Pro Bowl long before KV..

First of many. Going through posts one by one so I'll probably do 5 by the end of the day and call it quits. I should have started much later than the original pick reactions.
