I'm not even a big UFC guy, but I like the Fight Club radio show and they were all strongly supporting a suspension today. They anticipated sliding in Cormier for the big upcoming card.

Would have rather seen Anthony knock his arse out.

, who am I kidding, JBJ would have just disappointed me again by winning.

NOLA card still stacked and there is plenty of time to replace Cormier

per ESPN
quote:

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones appeared in Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Tuesday for a felony first appearance, stemming from a hit-and-run the fighter was allegedly involved in Sunday.

Jones, 27, has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death or personal injuries. He was taken into custody Monday night and released shortly after on $2,500 bond.

I didn't buy tickets, and I'm kind of relieved now. Wanted to see Cormier, as does much of NOLA, but wasn't ready to dish out $100. Maybe they can replace him with Gustafsson.

Guilty!

He still won't get convicted of a felony. Won't serve any jail time. And most certainly won't get kicked out of the UFC.

I highly doubt it. It's most likely the last thing White and the UFC wanted to do. He is currently their biggest draw not named Ronda Rousey. But he left them no choice.

Addiction is no joke. Seems like it would be better PR for White if he supported Jones. Yes strip his title but also say they are going to extend a helping hand.
