I'm not sure he could. He currently plays in the Powershares Series, and he looks pretty slow. But he's still got some good skills, so he might have a chance.

I think he would beat her for sure. Look at him in the PowerShare series. He competes with and sometimes beats Roddick and Blake. I have said it on this site before, women really do suck at sports. People need to realize this

Ive watched hem occasionally on Powershares...still hits the ball pretty strong but just doesn't have wheels to get to some of the shots.
Id have to give the edge to Serena just because she can outrun her mistakes and McEnroe can't

McEnroe is one of my all time favs but I think Serena could beat him at this point in their careers...

Agreed. The whole men's vs women's debate for many of the sports is really ridiculous.

i don't know, what kind of bullshite marking is that?
the question isn't can Serena beat the 1001 ranked men's player. it's whether she, essentially at her peak, can beat a 56 year old man. IMO she has a shot, and in yours she doesn't. we'll never know.

What I'm saying is, Serena is around 1000 ish on the men's level. I am just pointing that out to give people a better perspective on the question. Some tards that don't know tennis(not you) see her name and jizz all over themselves and think she would be top 100 in the men's game and would crush Johnny Mac

No way is Serena is better than the top 1000 men in the world. Top 100 is the stupidest thing I've heard in a while. Jeez. She competes against and even loses to women, women much weaker and slower than her. Granted she beats them more than she loses.

As I said in the other post on this issue, I think Johnny Mac would take her IF it were only one set. Not sure he could last in a two out of three match. Serena wins her women's match simply b/c she completely overpowers the other ladies. She is really a man playing on the women's tour and that's about it. I just don't think she would overpower Mac and I think Mac would be smart enough to know how to attack Serena and then get in her head...regardless of the fact that he's in his 50's.

When jimmy Connors was done he beat the crap out of Martina who was rolling though everyone. She even got the doubles court. It was not even close. And he truly laid up quite a bit.

He can still hit the ball well and is in great shape for a 56 year old.
Women are so far inferior to men in sports. I think we need to have the best professional women play average/below average professional men in every sport on prime time TV just to shut all these conversations up.
