John Beilein voted best offensive college coach in the country by fellow coaches

Beilein, entering his ninth year as Michigan head coach, was voted as the best offensive coach in the country in CBS Sport's annual "Candid Coaches" series, an anonymous polling of nearly 100 Division I basketball coaches at all levels.

According to a video posted Friday by CBS's Sam Vecenie, Beilein tallied 16.9 percent of coaches' votes.

He was followed in the voting by Davidson's Bob McKillop, Wisconsin's Bo Ryan, Gonzaga's Mark Few and Duke's Mike Krzyzewski. Vecenie noted that the best offensive coach question "garnered the widest range of responses" in the series and that Beilein's selection was "interesting and probably well served."
