Weird that the bears just interviewed him.

The bills are a better spot for him.

He dont have to do too much coaching with Allen there. Great job for him.

I would not hitch my ride to Fields, he learned that in Carolina
Allen is a much better proposition
He will do well there and he doesn't have to reinvent the wheel to do it
Even Saints no now what it's like without a franchise QB
The NFL is definitely where he wants to be because I'm sure he could have had a college OC gig if he wanted

Or maybe he tried taking on something he wasn't ready for and it blew up in his face?

I for one am happy to see him land somewhere.

Shame the Bengals couldn't have hired him. But nobody ever accused that franchise of being smart.

Hardly. Dude was making $60K as an analyst at the Saints in 2018. Payton advised him not to go to LSU. He made bank there. He made major bank as the Panthers Offensive Coordinator. And now he’a making very good money with the Bills. Taking the OC job for 2 years put him way ahead where he’s be financially had he just stayed at LSU.

He also had a chance at several NFL HC jobs last year. It didn’t work out for him, but at least he had the chance at a $20-$25M contract vs back staying at LSU during the last 2 years and probably tanking his value bc LSU was an absolute mess.

Bengals can’t exactly hire anyone right now. They are still in the season. There is a chance they lose their offensive coordinator this offseason though. It would’ve been nice if Brady was still in the pool of applicants for them to choose from, but can’t blame him on taking a great job with the Bills.

I don’t get the negativity toward Joe Brady.

As a Bills fan, I think the “QB coach” thing is just a title to get him on staff. Josh Allen’s QB coach the last 3 years is still there as the OC now.
I feel like all Brady will be asked to do is pretty much what he did at LSU with Ensminger.

or was it Joe Burrow?
I can’t blame the guy for getting high on his own supply. He must have thought he was the next Bill Walsh with the video game numbers Burrow was putting up. Everything he called worked.

He can still have a great coaching career and I hope he does.

Never played QB or coached QBs at any level.

Weird.

Dorsey is the oc and former qb coach.

I'm sure they brought brady in to be his right hand man and bring some passing concepts with him.

Good spot for brady to learn.

If he can simply convince the team to play Gabriel Davis more that will be a big win.

I know, but they can basically hire as many coaches as they want. Why give him the QB coach title? I know it's just semantics, but it seems silly.
