It was terrible officiating. It was so bad, I can only imagine the officiating crew wanted Clemson to remain unbeaten and win.
College football can be frustrating at times.

They essentially assessed a 70 yard penalty on FSU during a critical part of the game when they had all the momentum.
fricking awful

Clemson had over 500+ yards of offense, and the guy is crying about the officials?

Best team won. Cry more Jimbo

Yes it was bad. I usually don't fault refs for the outcome of games but that was really bad.

yes, terrible call that might be the reason they lost the game.

Yeah, and two obvious holdings not called against FSU last night. Boy, officials were so one-sided.

Not saying the better team didn't win. But I hate when people say "quit crying about officials" or bring up other things that happened in the game to try and justify it.
That call was awful and game changing and deserves to be criticized. You can't throw a flag like that unless you are 1000% sure... And then to follow it up with assessing a 15 yarders on the coach for getting pissed at you? Pathetic.

All I'll say is that last drive for FSU was a load of bullshite. Refs were calling everything on them, they had no chance.

Hmm if this wasn't LSUs most likely next head coach and their ex OC I wonder how many of you would feel the same?

he's one of the biggest HCs in CFB and that was one of the biggest games of the week
there would be comments regardless of his connection to LSU

The 2 morons on the espn panel need to be criticized here too. 'It may have been the wrong call but cook was probably going to get around him anyway. You usually see officials call stuff away from the play like that.'
Wtf. This didn't happen away from the play. Clemson defender was the closest person to cook, pursuing him for a tackle. Even if cook made him miss, he still would have had to change course, and therefore slow down, to do so. He was already starting to do it when the block was made. To prevent that from happening is a perfectly good reason, as if that was even needed, to block someone.

I love the sound of butthurt in the morning, especially from a whiny bitch like Jimbo.
