This there is no interaction between IMG players and UM apparently, and there has potentially been some backlash as they are using IMG's facilities so the high school kids can't. Not sure how true that is but of course that is what buckeye people are saying

Wondering what the total cost was to move an entire major college football program that far? Even if Mich. is renting the equipment, weight rooms, dining areas, film rooms, etc....that's a lot of money. Did Mich. athletics end up in the black this yr? Most athletic depts. do not. And to quote Mr. FSU, Danny Kannel: "when I stepped off the plane on a recruiting trip in Jan. and the wind chill was one degree, I knew this was not a place I wanted to be for 4 yrs".

How the hell did the NCAA allow this?
I thought the rules were that athletes weren't supposed to get special benefits unavailable to the average student, unless it was related to competition. There was a story a few years ago about how some school ran afoul of the NCAA because a member of the women's golf team washed her car with a hose attached to the athletic dorms.
A week-long trip to Florida for a Big 10 football team is way beyond that.
And I would think this was shitty and shady if Les Miles was bringing the Tigers to IMG Academy for spring break.
