Jim Furyk choked 3 times on the big stage last year. He didn't choke today. He got beat.

I'm not saying that this tournament is defined by "Furyk choking". No doubt, Duffner won is thing. But my point is that Furyk did not play great today. 25 guys shot under par today, Furyk was not one of them. If Furyk was in the fairway and hitting greens on the last two holes, Duffner would have had a much tougher time getting his ball in the hole.

Agree and i dont think he chocked today. He got outplayed but I would not consider it a choke

What Jason did two years ago was a choke

I agree with KR. He's a borderline HOFer.

true, just saying as tough as golf is, at that course, to say a man "chokes" is a little rough

Not for some of our TD Tour members.

The only reason he finished bogey-bogey is because he was down two strokes and had to take low percentage shots to try and press the issue.

Not a choke. He had a damn 1 shot lead.

No major was one by the 3 day leader this year

Dufner went out and won this golf tournament.

Furyk finished bogey-bogey because he had to try to pull off hero shots because at that point, Dufner was -4 on his round

Well considering that Jimmy entered the round with the lead, I'd say that lead turned into a two stroke deficit pretty quickly. Did Furyk break par on a day when 25 players broke par? Sounds like Duff applied the pressure and Jimmy faded away.

Jim did not play well but I still would not call it a choke. He was never really in control of the tournament. He had a one shot lead for a few holes.

That is not a choke job

You can lose a lead without choking it away. Jim got beat today. Duff chocked in Atlanta. 5 stroke lead standing on 15 on Sunday and lose.

That is a choke

It was not a choke, it was a gradual "just fade away". Everyone here was saying last night that Furyk didn't have what it takes to close the deal, and he didn't.

The last 2 holes were the 2 hardest on the course. Duffner bogeyed them too.
