Went to D2 Lane College but dropped out before playing when father died and he suffered depression
Joined the Fan Controlled League
Toronto argos scout saw him. Signed him, became CFL ROY
Jets took him at 176 never having played college ball

If you’re good enough, NFL scouts will find you. Look at any NFL roster, there are players from many small schools including Florida A&M, Weber State, Dartmouth, Old Dominion, Slippery Rock, Canada, Budweiser University (the beer man - Michael Lewis)

Wow. That is certainly one of the most unlikeliest paths to the NFL. Best of luck to him. I hope he makes the 53-man and has a successful career.
