Yes! Love Aaron and share his enthusiasm for RFK's Presidential run and for seeking self improvement through untraditional methods.

So ridiculous. Just AR making it about himself. No reason to do this other than the headline.

Maybe it was some kind of illusion. There is no way he had a complete rupture of the AT, because there is no way he could have that repaired and be ready to play contact football in less than a year. It hasn't been 3 full months has it? Maybe it was just a little small tear.

Oh I agree. Maybe it just looked worse than it ended up. Even though it’s pretty amazing he is playing at all this year.

I've been one to say that the media piles on him too much, but I think a huge part of him wanting to come back is to feed his ego. He's just a contrarian to the bone.
It doesn't really make any sense for him to come back, it's the same OL that couldn't protect you in the first game, and the Jets aren't a legitimate playoff contender. Too much risk and not enough payoff.

The tendon itself didn't rupture. It detached from the bone at the heel. They used a fairly new method to repair it. Either way, you have to give Rodgers props for his dedication to rehab it as fast as he did. You don't sit around and just heal, it takes some crazy work and pain.

There is a good reason for him to return. The Jets could fire Hackett due to how bad their offense has been this year. If Rodgers returns and shows that they can have a high functioning offense with Hackett calling plays, it will get the heat off Hackett's back and they will keep him around.

I don't doubt that Aaron Rodgers at 75% would be a tremendous upgrade. I only doubt the timing. There's nothing really for them to play for and he's at risk for another injury (not necessarily to his repaired achilles) because that O-line is still no good and he won't be 100%.

Would love to see him come back and make a run and send Mr Pfizer home in the playoffs

Certainly have to hand it to him, who would have guessed that a professional athlete worth hundreds of millions of dollars with all the support of a billion dollar professional sports franchise at his finger tips could take his rehab seriously.

Aaron Rodgers has become no better than an IG whore.
