Rummel dominated Barbe

WM gave up like 45 points to them.
Who cares? Yall beat who was put of front of you and rightfully have the state title. But I do think WM would have had the edge over Rummel. The WM choke at Barbe was quite impressive. They were up by like 30 in the 4th

I was at BM during Songy's stint as a Head Coach. I wasn't very impressed with his abilities as a HC. Good luck to the Blue Jays.

And just like with Keiser, Songy was better at Jesuit.

no....the one last year maybe....as evidenced by the two 4a selects electing to play in that division rather than the one with the 3a teams....

merely pointing out that a freaky fourth quarter derailed Wm does not cheapen anything.

Well the trophy probably doesnt say how you won it... I wouldnt know though, never seen one.

Now would they have beat Acadiana? Probably not, but the Catholic schools didnt ask for the split, the 2a and 3a nonselect schools did

The Songy hire is JUST interim, is that correct? (just for 2014)

That was my take, but I'm not 100% sure.

but we all know where it started, with play in class.... which was started by... well you know....

also.. 3a didn't ask for it....that was 2a...

and catholic schools may be signing a different tune if curtis moves up to 4a in all sports then opts up for football like sTm and Tc are doing.. wait for a rule blocking that..

interim would have been a current staff member if Songy turned them down....

he is the official coach period... done..

I can understand last year. It does feel cheapened. But they did beat Staug, prob the best team in 5a on either side

talk to any principal that was in on the original meetings... back then....

one principal started a crusade to cripple ECA and JC by forcing them down.. had the support of 4a which was tired of JC and 5a which was tired of ECA and fearful of a football only curtis only Curtis got stronger and ECA was crippled more by CBA than LHSAA.....

fact not fiction... forcing JC and ECA to 1a and 2a planted the seeds of the split and fertilized the ground....

I think curtis can opt up right now. The ball's in their court and they need to decide by the first week of August.

They say they need to play it close to the vest but other schools are waiting on them to make their own decisions...

actually I don't think they can go up till next reclass cycle.. but sTm and TC - and any other 4a select can go up this year in football playoffs only. - they were given that option when the divisions were created.

come again - they were only allowed to play up one class and that was just last year... from 2004 through this year - all schools were playing in enrollment class...

before - 2004 they were trying to play all the way up in football only which started some of this...

was a legit gripe back then for rest of sports to play down...

they have had open weeks when nobody in NO.. was knocking on door to play them...
