Our Lady of northern Indiana has no conference. They are playing 5 vs the ACC now.
New Jersey Inst of Tech was allowed to join big boy basketball without a conference.
They were crushed all year long. But last season they beat a couple of decent teams and they are in a NCAA D-1 conference now.

Travel for Liberty will not be an issue. If they are an independent the remaining sports can stay in the Big South conference.
Coastal will pick up a bit more travel, but no revenue sports can still bus to app st, ga st, ga southern, Troy. Not better than the big South but not terrible either. Not like Idaho and NM St were when they were full members pre-2007
