Kind of worried that Dale Jr could just retire. He's had a lot of concussions over the Years. He's about to get married too and will probably have kids after that. Why risk your long time health? He's already got so much money. He can also stay involved with jrmotersports. If he did it would REALLY hurt NASCAR.

Does Jr get any points that Gordon earns for driving his car?

No, so it would make it intresting if JG wins a race. Does he compete in the chase?

I bet Jeff Gordon will drive fastly.

No, he wouldn't be eligible I don't believe.

That's an interesting twist but I cant help but think he would have a better shot if he drove

Hell yes! Will actually watch a race with interest again. If only for 2 races

I love Gordon (after hating him as a young kid) and I'm glad to see him back in the car.
I hate that he retired cold turkey without any plans to run part-time but this is cool.
I'm kinda worried about Junior though?

As a race winner, Gordon would only be eligible for the 2016 Chase if he is also T30 in points. Which he obviously wouldn't be after two races.

None. Only the driver starting the race earns drivers points.
The 88 still receives owners points as always, though. Drivers points will just go to Gordon.
