I remember him from when he was in HS, I thought it would be cool if LSU brought him in, but understand why we didn't

Wins mid major POY but can't win Southland POY. Zeek 2nd in country in scoring and was leading going into the last week but gets 2nd team Southland.

Put him with Martin and Mickey and LSU would be much better right now. They wouldn't have stretches where they have no idea what they are doing on offense. And if Martin or Mickey decide not to show up for a game, West can score 30.

Because Thomas Walkup is a better player on a team that swept Northwestern. And West hasn't won anything yet FYI.

I agree walkup is on the better team but disagree he is the better player.

Walkup shoots 57% while West is at 44%. Their Per 40s are about the same given their positional requirements but Walkup is way more efficient.

I was impressed with them back when we played them. They tore our defense up more than once
