The NFL has strongly committed to placing NFL teams in L.A. and London. Is it a coincidence that the Jaguars were the team chosen to play the 49'ers in London this week? I mean, this game probably won't even be close, but there was a reason the NFL chose the Jaguars for this game. I don't know how committed Shad Khan is to the Jacksonville area, and he is a businessman, if London or L.A. offered him the right price and stadium, I don't see the Jags staying in Jacksonville much longer. What do y'all think, Jags to London permanently?

It would suck to be on that team and have to fly over here several times every fall

Just fly them over there and leave them. No one would notice.

Lol that too! I don't think teams would be thrilled to have that long trip back and forth, but hey, if the NFL wants it, they have to abide. I wouldn't mind flying to England, always wanted to go visit England.

Yes, there was....same reason why they had the Vikings and Steelers game there a few weeks ago.

The Jaguars are playing a game in London every year until 2016. Next year it's Cowboys vs. Jags, and there's 3 regular season games there for the first time. (Dolphins-Raiders and Lions-Falcons)

Nobody here gaf about American football. An NFL team in London would fail miserably.

A franchise in London would have no shot at being competitive. Not only that, it would be a scheduling nightmare unless the team invested in an old Concorde.

You could put them in the AFC East. What is the difference in flying to the west coast and flying to London? It's not like they are flying coach across the Atlantic.

I just can't believe they refuse to sign Tebow. Throw their fans a bone. He cannot possibly be worse than Gabbert or Henne.

There's also a lot who would eat up a lot of regular fans for breakfast knowledge wise.

The Jags deal is smart for gauging if there is a more permanent demand/support and to try to sort out fans from the people going for the novelty of it.

Disagree 100%. It wouldn't be as smashing a success as a Premier League team in NYC but it would be a financial coup and a winning team would be insane.
