Nobody else even deserves to be in the discussion. Bobby Knight went crazy. Dean Smith was great, but K has had more success at a tougher place to have success. Roy Williams? Wildly inconsistent, but a champion nonetheless. Tom Izzo deserves some love, but has lost to K head-to-head too many times.
And Adolph Rupp was a racist bastard.

No, true idiocy is thinking that someones racial biases make them an inferior coach or that a court named after someone makes them a superior coach.
Saying that no one else deserves to be in the discussion is idiotic because it's not true. You may think it's true, but you probably also believe that Coach K recruits cleanly.
John Wooden, Bob Knight, Coach K, Dean Smith, Phog Allen, Adolph Rupp are all in the conversation.

It's too difficult to compare across eras but I'd like to hear why Smith or Knight are equal to coach K.
