There's too many potential logistical issues with a Super Bowl outdoors in February. Can you imagine the chaos if a blizzard comes through and closes down roads, airports, etc?

This type of scenario is my greatest concern. Otherwise, I'm sure that the teams involved will make the necessary adjustments during the game.

the only super bowl ever that has had average fans out in force was the Saints in XLIV...

I went to the Nebraska v OU Big 12 champ game in 2006.
It was 19 degrees at kickoff. Night game

I had a great time. The weather did not affect the amount of fun I had.

NYC will be fine. Why do you care? do you have tickets to the game?

Other cities that should get a SB.... Chicago / seattle / D.C.

Sn fran will get one once they build their new stadium.

we don't want cold weather cities to get super bowls bc if they start getting them, miami, san diego, and NOLA won't get them as often, and Jacksonville, Dallas, and other places will never get them again

and if they have terrible weather, they'll dismiss it as a fluke occurence, which will piss me off.

Why are you laughing??? The SB should be played in weather that makes FB players FOOTBALL players. These guys nowadays are pampered and spoiled compared to the GREAT AGE of the NFL.

In my experience, 28 degrees and sunny isn't as bad as a Louisiana cold front in the upper 30's/low 40's with high humidity.

Other cities deserve to have the Super Bowl. Whether they are cold or warm climate cities.
