NFL will never get rid of Thursday Night Football unfortunately.

I loathe having a stud play on thursday nights....though I did have some ball out this past year, Mike Evans, Julio, and david johnson

Thurs only works with playoff implications, I would not do it every Thurs during the regular season, wait until the end of the season.

I agree with poster, add doubleheaders on Sun on Fox and CBS to replace Thurs night football or give the NFL network a Sunday game to make up for Thurs.

College football. Usually decent games on Thursday.

While we are at it, I wish ESPN would can the Tuesday and Wednesday mid- major games. I'm a football junkie as much as anyone, but I don't need it 7 days a week.

The extra Sunday game would tweak my interest.... I dont have the league pass... so having an option of two games on at the same time would be nice.....

Indeed. There are too few games in the Sunday late afternoon time slot.
