At least when people dubbed the Seahawks the new dynasty, they had already won a Super Bowl.

Huh?

Try two-pete and playing for a 3rd in 3 years with 34 wins in a row...and 7 conference titles....that's called a dynasty...even with the Seahawks, divisional champs and playoffs, then won Super Bowl, lost Super Bowl...divisional champs and playoffs.

How hurt are some people to rewrite history and ignore what was the history back when? On the field. I don't get it.

And the Panthers lost but they are the new Seahawks with a great D and great O. They just all collectively had a bad game with mistakes and drops and penalties.

They still let the Seahawks back into it. Sure they are the most talented team in the NFC, but I doubt they make it look as easy as they did it this season. You'd have to imagine GB will bring in somebody at WR to get open and patch up their OL. Seattle has another year to figure out how to use Grahem. Plus, their WRs are getting better. They still have a good defense. Arizona will be Arizona. Then you have like 6 other team that's could be good next season. And if all they get are NFC championships or just to the title game, how much do people talk about the Eagles of last decade or the Bills from the early 90s?

The whole "Panther fans vs. everyone else" dynamic has been fun to watch on this board. It ranks right up there with the "Kentucky basketball fan vs. Louisville basketball fan" feuds. Keep the lulz coming!

Unfortunately, wade Phillips gave every team a blue print on how to stop Carolina. Just think what is going to happen when they play QBs who can throw forward passes over 10 yards.

There's a lot of fear and jealousy in this thread.

Don't worry guys, when the Panthers reign supreme over your lesser teams, you can take pride in them being gracious losers exhibiting class and dignity in defeat

And this is a dynasty?

Panthers fans can claim fear and butt hurt, but they have not even won once.

And have you seen how fast teams fall in the NFL?

Wait, I get it. You are talking about an NFC South dynasty!

Zero fear, nor an ounce of jealousy.

meh not really....99% of teams don't have the type of pass rushers like they do that can not only get to Cam but finish him off. The Denver D has a pretty rare combo of outstanding pass rushers and defensive backs

Holy shite. This is almost as bad as my thread where I proclaimed that the Big 10 is the best P5 conference.

I haven't analysed the cap and FA situations next year for anybody, but I'd place Seattle and Carolina at the top going into next year, followed by Arizona/Green Bay. That seems pretty obvious though.

Seattle was a set for a dynasty as anyone two years ago, probably still are. They were a play away from 2 SBs, they were off this year and damn near overcame 31-0 on the road.
