Why would the Knicks do that if their best player is already a big man?

Youd have to assume Melo still waives his NTC for Cleveland, which is very much a question at this point with LeBron likely to leave after this season.

Suns get nothing out of that. Also makes no sense for the Knicks with Love, LMA and Porzingis in the same lineup.

The Suns have turned down better offers for Bledsoe

I would consider doing it from Phoenix's perspective if I'm only taking on Frye's deal. No way I want to take Lee's contract on for that long. My favorite thing is people's severe undervaluation of Bledsoe.

That's the worst deal the cavs could make. Lose Kylie AND love?

I don't want PHX to trade for Kyrie. The Suns would have the worst defensive backcourt in the league. Also, the Cavs seem to have an insane valuation for Irving still even though everyone knows he doesn't want to be there.

Plus, Kyrie isn't sooooo much better than Bledsoe to warrant giving up other assets for him. Bledsoe is a 21-6-5 guy, and he defends. I'm not giving up picks, Jackson, or Booker to get Irving. I think Kyrie scores more, maybe almost 30 a night in Phoenix, but I don't think he makes the Suns that much better because I don't think he's a great fit with what Phoenix has.

I think there's an argument to be made that CLE improves if they get Bledsoe in return for Irving.

Bledsoe is well rounded, whereas we know Irving only provides 1 thing, scoring. And without Irving, Cleveland still won't have any lack of scoring options.

That Knicks lineup of Love, Aldridge, and Porzingis would certainly be interesting.

Just because you trade from them it doesn't mean you have to keep them, assets are assets. The Knicks would do that deal in a heartbeat.

I never do these, but I gave it a shot. Kyrie goes home. Nothing Charlotte has been doing is working, hit reset with Kyrie.

LINK

Cavs go with the lineup of:

Kemba
Shump
LBJ
Batum
Love

Definitely. Bledsoe was healthy last season, and he was playing at a super productive level before the team just committed to the tank. I think Kyrie is in the 6-10 range of active PGs (I'd take Steph, Harden, Russ, CP3, Wall at the point right now ahead of him). I'd say Bledsoe is in that 10-14 range, and I think he's a great fit for Cleveland. There's just no way you can convince me that Kyrie is worth those extra assets if I'm McDonough.

I know Kyrie's contract is generous compared to what other players are getting paid, but Bledsoe's is even nicer. His cap hit is 14.5 this year and 15 next year. For his production, that's one of the better contracts out there.

I'm hoping PHX doesn't deal Bledsoe unless there's a lottery pick coming in return. I'd even consider packaging TJ in there depending on the deal. Then you'll likely have two top 10 picks next year and completely be set for the future.

If Lebron is leaving why does Kyrie want a trade?
