I've seen some criticism of his volume of shooting but for this team is there any other way? We know he can be insanely efficient. He is getting doubled at the very least shaded everytime he has the ball but who else do you want on the cavs with the ball? He's facilitating at an incredible rate 16/17 first half cavs fgs went through lebron I believe maybe higher.

It's primarily the mouthbreathers who would criticize him.

LeBron himself said he gave up 2 offensive rebounds, made a couple of turnovers, and had a few defensive miscues.

So idk maybe

Well I guess that is about right since he's basically playing one on five.

LeBron in this series reminds me of John Elway in the Super Bowls back when Denver was only there because the AFC sucked.

It's completely unfair to kill him for not being able to lead Cleveland to a best of 7 victory over one of the top 12 teams in NBA history. I kind of think it's miraculous that they made it this competitive.

Who the hell said that? Now you are just making stuff up. People may have said that its over if it go to 3-1 but I never saw anything close to what you were saying. In fact most lebron fans were saying it was a miracle that they won 2.

According to the people who truly matter (the people who set the lines), Golden State was never an underdog at any point in this series. They are clearly a top 12 team of all time by any metric. If you look at offensive and defensive efficiency ratings, the fact that they have the league MVP and 2nd best DPOY, had such an unbelievable home record, and such a stellar record in one of the strongest conferences in league history, they are arguably a top 5 team of all time... Certainly any rational observer would cede they are a top 12 team of all time.

I don't personally believe they are a top 5 team of all time, but if you look at their record (especially accounting for how brutal and strong the WC was this year) and efficiency ratings (#1 offense AND #1 or #2 defense?!?!) they clearly rank in that stratosphere of teams. Also their great home crowds, brainy coach, having such a likeable league MVP, and fun/analytically hip style of play are intangibles that history will judge favorably. Hoopheads love the D'Antoni Suns, but this is basically that team with better pieces, better coaching, MUCH better defense, and a championship to boot.

If you could pick 5 teams in NBA history to put game film of in a time capsule, this 2014/15 Warriors team would probably be in the mix.

Time to hear about the good ol' days. Go ahead and sit down in your rocking chair, pops. We'll gather around.

take away the nostalgia and the biases, focus where you should, which is the data, and they're not far off.

I mean, I don't really think so. He shot 44% tonight. 40/14/11 on 44% shooting.

He wasn't good enough to win would probably be the only complaint?

There's obviously a handful of play he and there, but overall, you really can't.

OK I checked out,

Now you are in here making claims that LeBron is the greatest player in the world? correct? Why isn't any team he's ever been on at least in top 15.

I understand what they have accomplished, but I don't believe that they're a top 5 or 10 team either.

Are you about to argue that Lebron isn't the best player in the world?
