And the team I posted above (Curry, Russ, CP3, Klay, Kawhi, Lebron, KD, AD, BG, KAT, Boogie, DAJ)

has 4 HOF locks, assuming no injuries or anything unexpected (Lebron, Curry, KD, CP3)

The rest of the players it is too early to tell, but all of them have a shot at HOF except Deandre. And they're all in their prime right now. Except for KAT who is probably a little pre-prime and Lebron who might be post-prime, but even if so, is playing historically good.

The '92 Dream Team would skull drag any current team.

How do you define play with?

Be on the same court?
Keep it within 10?
Win?

Any current NBA team, sure?

Current team USA, as watered down as it is - sure

Any hypothetical collection of current players - no

PG-Paul
SG-Thompson
SF-Lebron
PF-Kawhi
C-Cousins

6-Durant
7-Curry
8-Davis
9-Westbrook
10-Towns
11-Aldridge
12-Carmelo

Edit: shite completely forgot Melo. Swap him for Griffin.

This team would give them a run for their money. Could play small ball with Davis/Leonard/Lebron/Durant with whatever 2 guards and they'd have some real trouble dealing with that. Imagine a Lebron/Thompson/Durant/Leonard/Davis lineup. That would be incredible to watch.

I'd like to see a team built from the '02 season play them.

1. Steph, Russ, CP3
2. Klay,Harden
3. Lebron, Durant, Kawhi/George/Melo(whichever you prefer)
4 Davis, Griffin
5. Cousins, Jordan

Would this team beat the dream. 7/10 they lose. But can they play with them, absolutely without a doubt.

A team with Lebrob and Westbrook is scary, too much athleticism

Yeah, people flip out about the frontcourt of the 1992 team compared to today, but they're not going to physically dominate a 2016 team.

Guys over 230lbs:

Ewing was 7-0 and 240 lbs. Robinson was 7-1, 235. Malone was 6-9, 256 while Barkley was 6-6, 250.

Couisins is 6-11, 270. KAT is 7-0, 244. LeBron is 6-8, 250. Davis is 6-10, 253. Aldridge is 6-11, 240. Griffin is 6-10, 251. Durant is 6-9, 240. Hell even Kawhi is 6-7, 230.

Exactly. They may be better at playing in the post but they are not as physically imposing as people make them out to be. The current players would be able to at deal with them somewhat and the 2016 team would play fast and light them up from 3.

If you don't think that team could even "play" with 92 Dream Team, you're too tied up in nostalgia to have a rationale conversation with.

Not DAJ.

Are they playing each other under Olympic rules?

Because modern players are much better alligned with the rules of the international game.

I'm older than 30.

The dream team athletes of today, James, Curry, Durant, Paul, Westbrook, etc. would absolutely beat them.

That is one hell of a lot of slow.
