Is the atmosphere better at a college game or an NFL game?

I've never cared for the NFL. It's like it's always the same. The bad teams are always bad and the patriots are always good.
Just wondering what an NFL game day atmosphere is like.

Not for someone who's never gone to an NFL game.

I think it comes down to which team you love the most. I have some friends who are die hard who dats. They say they have more fun in New Orleans.
It's Death Valley for me. Always.

If a Trash fest is what you consider best atmosphere then an NFL game is your winner.

Went to my first Saints game last season. Never heard anything so loud.

I don't find either "better"
But, they are very different.
It is nearly impossible to explain (for me). But, each has its own "personality" and both can be AWESOME

You can argue whether you like NFL or college better, but I'm not sure how anyone could have a debate about the atmosphere.
College 10x or the NFL because of less poors.

LA Coliseum and Oakland Coliseum for the NFL were the worst experiences for any sporting event in my lifetime.
College games were great at those same venues.

The Superdome sucks! You sit a mile from the field and the echo is beyond annoying. Where do you tailgate? Nothing compares to Tiger Stadium! Proven year after year.

All indoor stadiums suck.
Football (and all sports) was made to be played outdoors, on real grass, in the afternoon under God's sun.
Like the Rose Bowl.
Not indoors, not at fricking night, not in a Dome, not on artificial turf. That's one thing that sucks about the South, it's all night and all turf and bullshite.

I much prefer NFL football, but college is the better atmosphere to be in.

To me it depends on the teams.
LSU>Saints but Seahawks>Washington
Also matters if you have a rooting interest. I went to the University of Texas, I didn't go to Houston Texans University. I like the Texans, I feel bad when they lose. I LOVE the Longhorns, it hurts when they lose.

I've only been to a NFL preseason game and the atmosphere wasn't good. Yes, I know that's not the same as a regular season/playoff game.

Honestly it depends on the game time and matchup. Hypothetically Monday night in the Superdome vs the Falcons is definitely better than Tiger Stadium when LSU plays someone like Eastern Michigan. But I would have to get a slight edge to LSU vs the Saints.
