You just implied that Patrick Peterson's athleticism doesn't help him on the field, right?

You win the Dumbest shite I've Heard Today award.

Yeah. That's exactly what I did. Jeez. You are dense.

I said this when he was still at LSU: he's a great athlete and a good corner, but not shutdown. He'd make plays, but teams were hardly afraid to throw his way.

You said AP's athleticism actually helps him on the football field. Which implies what re Patrick Peterson?

According to pff, the God of all Gods, PP was ranked the 58th best overall player in the NFL. I would consider that pretty damn good. But who knows
Of the 2013 season, yes.

I think he is overrated a little bit from just a pure cover corner aspect but he's also a big time playmaker.

He's 3rd in interceptions since he has entered the league and he has more TDs then the other CBs.

He's also a 2 time all pro (voted on by the coaches I believe???) and 3 time pro bowler (voted by fans.. So not as cool)

If all the coaches in the NFL think he's an all pro. He's an all pro.

They probably know a little bit more about the game then us dumb fricks talking on Internet forums

If Patrick Peterson is so athletic, why isn't he the best player on the field? Because he wastes his athletic ability wth bad coverage skills and instincts. Period.

Dude is the Taylor Mays of cornerbacks.

Dude tricked people by making big plays every once in a while. But that's not what the position is about. It's about not getting beat.
yeah, he is a sneaky fricker - tricking those NFL scouts - always thought he was a trickster - so, how long have you been an NFL scout?

It does, but the 2014 is more recent and weighs more heavily on my opinion of him.

So instead of using every year he has been in the league, you use only 1. Why?

Would you make this thread about him if he didn't go to LSU?

I took it as Patrick Peterson's elite athleticism doesn't translate to elite (or anything close to elite this past year) results on the field. For Adrian Peterson it does
