You just implied that Patrick Peterson's athleticism doesn't help him on the field, right?
You win the Dumbest shite I've Heard Today award.
Yeah. That's exactly what I did. Jeez. You are dense.

He was ranked CB #69 this past season.

I said this when he was still at LSU: he's a great athlete and a good corner, but not shutdown. He'd make plays, but teams were hardly afraid to throw his way.

Ok, he was also ranked the 58th overall best player by Pff

You said AP's athleticism actually helps him on the football field. Which implies what re Patrick Peterson?

According to pff, the God of all Gods, PP was ranked the 58th best overall player in the NFL. I would consider that pretty damn good. But who knows

So the 2013 season does t count? He was the 58th best player out of 704 starters.
Posted on 3/12/15 at 3:43 pm to TTsTowel
Damn, sucks that only 2014 counts and not the other years he played. Bummer

I think he is overrated a little bit from just a pure cover corner aspect but he's also a big time playmaker.
He's 3rd in interceptions since he has entered the league and he has more TDs then the other CBs.
He's also a 2 time all pro (voted on by the coaches I believe???) and 3 time pro bowler (voted by fans.. So not as cool)
If all the coaches in the NFL think he's an all pro. He's an all pro.
They probably know a little bit more about the game then us dumb fricks talking on Internet forums

Well there is more recent information...
Posted on 3/12/15 at 3:43 pm to boom roasted
If Patrick Peterson is so athletic, why isn't he the best player on the field? Because he wastes his athletic ability wth bad coverage skills and instincts. Period.
Dude is the Taylor Mays of cornerbacks.

quote:yeah, he is a sneaky fricker - tricking those NFL scouts - always thought he was a trickster - so, how long have you been an NFL scout?
Dude tricked people by making big plays every once in a while. But that's not what the position is about. It's about not getting beat.

So I use 3 years worth of info and you use 1 year. Makes sense
Posted on 3/12/15 at 3:44 pm to lsupride87

So the 2013 season does t count?
Posted on 3/12/15 at 3:45 pm to TTsTowel
So instead of using every year he has been in the league, you use only 1. Why?
Posted on 3/12/15 at 3:45 pm to TTsTowel
Would you make this thread about him if he didn't go to LSU?

I took it as Patrick Peterson's elite athleticism doesn't translate to elite (or anything close to elite this past year) results on the field. For Adrian Peterson it does
