Depends how you define goat...
in regards to accomplishments, no

In regards to being the best overall basketball player I would say yes. Jordan didn't have the size or versatility of LBJ. LeBron can be put at any position and be the better matchup, any time, any game, any opponent

Of course he is...

He's playing right now.

15 years from now, we will see the new GOAT from another group on TD proclaiming it...and LeBron defenders defending LeBron against the latest guy winning.

Jordan had the better career as in no major blemishes like LeBron in 2011 finals, joining a super team

My favorite thing about Jordan was that he never lost a playoff game and he scored every point in the 4th quarter. His WILL is what made him great.

LeBrons a totally different player than MJ. MJ wanted to be the one man show and that's what he's recognized for. I don't think people appreciate how much better every player on the court becomes in LeBrons presence. That's his goal

That's accurate, but when you have a generational player in basketball it can be better to let them touch the ball and score every possible opportunity. Lebron has lost out on championships trusting in his teammates too much.

He's going to end up being #1 when he retires. If he wins against GS this year he's my #1 player ever as of then.

Also true. Jordan had more 'killer' demeanor in him, but I think LBJ has surpassed him as best overall player.

People also sell LeBron short on his intellect. He's basically the coach and GM of these teams. Jordan was a better pure scorer and more clutch, but LeBron takes it everywhere else.

Kobe never passed MJ IMO. He was the exact same player as MJ, just not quite as good or accomplished. James' versatility has put him over the top
