The Texans fricked up so bad. Watt and Mack could be on the same team.

he's really good but must convert more sacks if he wants to be considered the best edge rusher in the league

Justin Houston is an animal and more productive but Mack is probably a better raw athlete. There are just a lot of great athletes playing on the edge right now.

It seems like there is a new "best edge rusher in football" every single year.

he certainly does, but if preseason is any indication, he's about to rack them up.

I love watching him go at it, he has the best instincts when the opposition runs a draw.

Yeah it just speaks to the depth at the position

Von, Robert Quinn, Dumervil, Kerrigan, JPP, Suggs, Wake just off the top of my head and I'm sure I'm forgetting some big ones

he's hardly proved anything in NFL as an edge rusher. he'll get more of an opportunity this year.

Justin Houston is probably the best edge rusher.

But Mack is a beast and could be 1 of the most disruptive and dominant players in the league this year. And it will only be his 2nd year in the league. Kid is special.

4 sacks on 40 hurries

Sounds like shite just happened in a weird way. He also spent a lot of time in coverage.

They didn't use him primarily as a pass rusher. Hell get a lot more opportunities. I would guess that the raiders didn't get too many obvious pass rushing situations compared to other teams

Even with all of that, 4 sacks just seems like circumstance. He looked unstoppable against the cards (granted they've had line issues)

No. Cameron Wake and Von Miller are still better pass rushers.

JPP is actually a better run defender than pass rusher.
