All he does is jab and run away. He never beats anyone down. It's like Winnie the Pooh boxing piglet.

No. Most overrated fighter sure, but may be the best actual boxer ever.

I don't know. How did Tyson, Marciano and Ali do at the sports books?

I think not losing a fight says something. Who cares how he wins.

If you think he's a top 5 fighter of all time yes he is the most overrated. His resume simply isn't up to par with guys like

Sugar Ray Leonard
Roy Jones Jr
Bernard Hopkins
Manny Pacquiao
Michael Spinks
Muhammad Ali
Roberto Duran
Carlos Monzon
Julio Cesar Chavez
Evander Holyfield

and many others in just the past 40 years or so

He isn't a top 5 fighter, he is a top 5 boxer though...at least!

he is a pure counter puncher. Oscar would have beat him if he would not have chased him.
He does not fight many bigger
taller guys.
Not the first fighter to pick his opponents.

No way. He is actually one of the smartest fighters of all-time. Being undefeated with a good resume says a lot. Is boxing down, yes. However it isn't like PBF is ducking anyone legit.

Up to this point, the only fight we have missed out on was Pac-Man and that would of been an utter destruction anyway.

No. One of the most underrated in my opinion. A lot of people hate him and don't rate him highly because of it.

They also hold others, like Ali, too highly because over time the legend became greater than the man.

That is just not true. Boxing has weight classes but he has fought a lot of bigger guys. The most recent example was when he fought Canelo. Canelo was 165 during the fight and Floyd was down to 146. That is a HUGE difference, huge, for a boxing match and Money May put on a clinic.

Paul Williams, Antonio Margarito, Kostya Tszyu Shane Mosley. Floyd will retire having legitimately beaten 1 guy ranked top 10 P4P(Corrales way back in 2001)

He beat Mosley bro! Also, he destroyed Juan Manual Marquez in 2009 when JMM was absolutely a top 10 PFP fighter, more like top 2 or 3 at worst. The same JMM who beat up your boy MP 3 times, the same MP you said MM wasn't up to par with. I don't care what the judges say JMM beat MP 3 times, 2 if you want to be VERY generous, yet you ranked MP as someone who has a better resume than MM. Do you even watch boxing?

ETA: The more I think about how much my reply owned you, and all of the retarded things you said, the more I am! Even funnier is I am drunk and still owning you!! You should pay for this knowledge I am dropping on you, son!

He beat a 38 year old Mosley who was coming off a 15 month layoff. Floyd was ducking Mosley when they should of fought in 2007.

Marquez was ranked as a lightweight Floyd fought him 2 weight classes above that and still didn't make weight. Floyd beat Hatton at 147 when Hatton was ranked as a 140.

Anyone who actually knew who Pacquiao was before he fought DLH knows he has a much better resume than Floyd. Pacquiao destroyed a top 3 P4P prime HOFer in Barrera(another fighter with a better resume than Floyd) and Marquez at the weight classes they were ranked it. Pacquiao's resume at lightweight and below>Floyd's entire resume.

All I see from you are excuses and backpedaling but that is typical Verlander. I don't care where JMM fought, he still OWNED MP 3 of 4 fights, and the one time JMM fought Money May MM beat the shite out of him. I think we all can agree JMM is primarily a counter-puncher, and also agree that MM is THE BEST counter-puncher of all time so if MM>JMM he would DESTROY MP. You may not see it, but anyone that follows boxing, or basic logic, would see it and not be able to make a case against it.

the fact that you're obsessed with who would win Floyd vs Pacquiao as if it has anything to do with their resumes shows that you are a Mayweather fanboy didn't start following boxing until 4 or 5 years ago.

You probable didn't even know who Marquez was when Mayweather fought him.
