You mean the win bar that used to be a part of the stadium of the team playing is the same as a rock from thousands of miles away and has nothing to do with the team playing? Right.

They named their stadium Death Valley. They STOLE our tradition. That's the stupidest thing about Clemson.

The only thing I do not like about the Clemson run down the hill is the the possibility of a player getting injured.

No. Most traditions look stupid from other fanbases' perspective. That doesn't make it stupid

What if Megan Fox in her prime was you cousin? It wouldn't be so stupid then, huh?

so can someone clear this up for me? i was watching last night and it was game time, and the clemson players were fully dressed on the buses. do they warm up and get back on the buses, or do they warm up (likely at the practice facility) and bus over and hit the game field for the first time down the hill???

either way, hearing them pimp this tradition was pretty disgusting. if the program/tradition had something to it that wasnt completely rooted in failure, i'd be more impressed. just seemed like something was cool b/c everyone kept saying it was. i would disagree.

They did win a NC in the 80s. It is a neat tradition that shows well on TV. Thats why it was pimped. I actually thought the bus shots were pretty cool. Gave a great view of the atmosphere.

I forget sometimes that our fan base may be the most miserable in the nation though, so I'd assume that they would hate it as many love to bitch about anything... Even success.

I don't get the point of hating on other schools' traditions. The different pageantry at different institutions is part of what makes cfb so much fun to experience.

Most traditions are pretty corny anyway Case in point, A&M's yell leaders' original purpose was nothing more than jesters for upperclassmen's dates. So when someone gets all clever and says they look stupid, I'm like, yeah, that's pretty much the point
