Basketball can get so boring during long games...

He's like the Hippie Vin Scully.

His stories help make it palatable.

Walton is one strange dude.

Frank Caliendo as Walton is better than Walton.

Same goes for Jon Gruden.

Johnny Most was the Vin Scully of the NBA. Easily the greatest. Walton is awful IMO

That is one annoying mofo with his little buzzwords. I have dreamed of punching him through my tv screen many times.

He always says the "Pac 12 is the conference of champions". Yet, I can't think of any championships they have won lately.

It's the conference's literal slogan.

And it's true. More championships than almost everyone else combined.

Dude, seriously?

They won like 10 championships last year and 55 Olympics medals in Rio.

They have 469 NCAA Championships (287 men’s, 154 women’s, 28 combined), outdistancing the next conference by nearly 200 titles.

Men’s NCAA crowns -

16 basketball titles by six schools (more than any other conference)
28 baseball titles
54 tennis titles
46 outdoor track & field crowns
25 of 45 NCAA titles in volleyball
40 of 45 in water polo
28 in skiing
24 in swimming & diving national championships

I know it's a football world now with the NFL and College.

But other sports do exist and kids go to schools to train for the Olympics.

Indeed. So did Dr. Jack Ramsey.
I also enjoyed Al MacGuire back in the day.

The PAC 12's last basketball title was in 1997. That was almost 20 years ago.

Bill is the best, he is the ONLY reason to watch pac12 late games.

I do feel for his partner, poor guy doesn't know when it's going to happen, but Billisms are coming, and u better get ready for them.

Last time i watched, he was talking about walking on a volcano. It was Classic Billisms

He is a National Treasure

Yes, seriously. I'm well aware that other sports do exist, but didn't recall anything of note they have won recently. So villify me.

Well yeah...recently? no football or basketball.

They won baseball in 2013 and 2012.

And football isn't even an NCAA sanctioned sport.

It's a voted on beauty pageant.

So it doesn't even count in NCAA Championship figures.
