Hitting for the cycle is really cool but it's kind of a gimmick in a way. Someone could hit a single, a double, and 2 Home Runs and it's better than the basic cycle. I'd guess a player getting 10+ Total Bases in a game is far more common than a no-hitter.

Batter are striking out more but still a no-hitter is impressive
