New to golf but really interested in playing more and improving my game. I have a fairly flexible budget but am looking for the best set of irons for beginning golfers.

Any recommendations? Don't really know much about quality brands.

Take 500.00

go on ebay and get Callaway x14 4 thru Pitch for 150.00, then take 350.00 and go get lessons.

Below $400, unless that is terribly low. I am not up to date on iron set prices.

Bad advice. Take the $500 and get the most badass looking set of irons your money can buy. Then, go out on the course and learn by trial and error like a real man.

Ya, I agree on spending more money on lessons than clubs at this point.

Adams are great clubs to start off with.

Just know that if/when you get better you will probably have to upgrade to a new set

I promote those clubs all the time to new players. They are so easy it hit and really long. My dad plays those and loves them
