Looks cool and I think its a good idea on paper. I still cant figure how they'll handle traffic and parking.

Living next to a stadium would suck in a commuter city like Atlanta. Miserable traffic.

Yeah parking and all will be the biggest question marks. The restaurant's they are putting in are some of the best in Atlanta. Sure as hell beats the options at Turner field.

So basically they're trying to create the neighborhood feel that Chicago, Boston, and to some degree St. Louis have?

As an aside, Turner Field is what, 20 years old? Man stadiums have short shelf lives now. Imagine how it would go if owners touted a 20 year life for a billion dollar stadium they're trying to get funded...

This feels exactly like the banks in cincinnati, which is fricking awesome btw. Difference is that it's all downtown cincinnati where this will be kinda its own area

It's already an absolute disaster. My office building is directly across the street from the construction zone. Getting in and out of work is a bitch.
Traffic on 285 and Cobb Parkway is even more horrific now than it has been...which I never thought possible.
I just can't see how this small little area of space is going to hold that many people.

It's not so much the space, but the local road infrastructure is already gridlocked during rush hour. A MARTA rail extension should've been built in the area years ago.

That's what practically every sports venue in cities like Atlanta or Phoenix or Dallas have to do. Well, Dallas doesn't even try, but wouldn't shock me if they tried to do that eventually.

I go 285 to 75s every day, and I just noticed you can start to see construction above the tree line yesterday. With winter coming, should be able to see the progress coming along from 285.

This. I work downtown and live OTP. That construction on 75 that runs from 285 up to 575 has made traffic a living hell.

The Hotlane? I am never sitting in rush hour traffic, but when i drive up there it doesnt look like it would impact traffic at all since its mostly off to the side.
