You can laugh at Detroit and the Detroit Metropolitan Area but it has more money than New Orleans and Baton Rouge combined and it is still home to the American Automotive industry and a center of high technology manufacturing and built new baseball and football stadiums and will be building a new hockey arena.

Sure it's not the nicest place to live but lets remember Katrina didn't completely clean up New Orleans and Louisiana is still a corrupt state that is one of the poorest and least educated states in the country. Michigan beats Louisiana on every level of health and well-being and education so let's not rip into other places before looking closely at where you live or where you used to live.

I used to live in Louisiana and I will be the last person to criticize another city and state.

Louisiana got you stressed bro? People always quick to bring NOLA and BR area into every thread and trash it. Give it a rest.

Yet NOLA is booming. Detroit is not.

Can't admit the Democratic leadership destroyed this city and your immediate argument is to compare it to LA LOL

You one lived in LA therefore you can't criticize another state or city? What kind of sense does that make?

Detroit is basically a laughing stock to the rest of the country while N.O. hosts major sporting events, and entertainment events almost weekly.

Seriously guy give it a break.

The land and the stadium sold for $583,000. Originally constructed for $56 million.

Looking at all the pictures, I'm surprised looters haven't stole a lot of the stuff there. Or do they have security?
