Independence Bowl ticket sales soaring

Ticket sales for the 33rd annual Independence Bowl, featuring Louisiana Tech and Northern Illinois, have surpassed 41,000, according to I-Bowl executive director Missy Setters.

it was a good job going after Tech... probably would have been better to get ULL if they want to fill the stands... keep the money in state

the indy bowl needs the money .. they still haven't finished paying alabama and colorado from last year and got northern illinois to come down on a promissory note ..

The Indy also gets 350K from the state of La thru a grant from tourist bureau. Total waste of taxpayer money.
