I'm looking for free/cheap football helmets

I started making my own full size college helmets with decals I bought off eBay. I need helmets. I bought 2 at "play it again sports" but I'd rather get some cheaper.
Anyone coach kids football or know someone who does? They usually throw away a lot of helmets that fail inspection.

It seems like a cool hobby - yah best bet is maybe make friends or put out feelers from local rec departments etc

That is where I buy mine and if Play it Again was too much they will probably be too.
